Well, the wind made a big branch fall off of one of our trees. It didn't hit the house, but it came awfully close - we're talking inches. I'll start this off by saying I'm sure glad it didn't do damage. I'm also glad that it's in the front yard because Annyong would probably try and bring it in the doggy door even though it's probably ten feet long and has a decent diameter.
Today we're at 17 weeks. On the 25th of May we have our ultrasound and we'll find out if it's a boy or a girl. I'm so excited.
I read this article about the second trimester and it talked about having crazy dreams and believe me, they have started for me. Last night I had a dream that our baby was a boy and the doctors put a blue bow on him. The doctors explained that the boys got blue bows and the girls got pink. But I was mad because I didn't want my baby boy to wear ANY bow. Kind of funny. According to the article about being 17 weeks along, the baby is 5 inches and weighs about 5 ounces. I'm starting to think that I can feel the baby moving. I'm never sure and it could be just organs rearranging, but it could be.
Now I'm just looking for a little part-time job for the summer to keep me occupied. I've been really bored the past two days without having class while Blake is at work.
